Acupuncture
Acupuncture is the process of inserting very fine needles into specific areas of the body along ‘meridians’, and is thought to improve the circulation of blood, lymph and energy to these areas which stimulates healing as well as possibly stimulating the vagus nerve, encouraging a “rest and digest” response allowing for repair and healing to take place.
Other ancillary techniques such as traditional fire cupping and gua sha are used to increase circulation, release pain or blockages, and moxibustion, to warm and support the body and commonly used in pregnancy to encourage bub to be in an optimal position for birth.
Fertility/Paediatric Care
Focused fertility support for men and women including natural/IVF/IUI/recurrent miscarraige/sperm health and more. Treatments include acupuncture and herbal prescriptions.
Paediatric (<18) appointments may include options such as gentle cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, herbal prescriptions* and the introduction of acupuncture with very fine needles or acupuncture/pressure stickers if your child isn’t ready to accept acupunture.
